The opportunity

We are seeking a Business Analyst and Project Onboarding Consultant to lead requirements discovery and customer onboarding for ERP-style implementation projects using ExPCS. This role works closely with customers and internal delivery teams to clearly define requirements, produce agreed specifications, coordinate onboarding activities, and drive successful adoption through training and go-live support.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys turning complex operational environments into a clearly defined scope, an agreed specification, and a structured, successful onboarding outcome.

Key responsibilities

Requirements discovery and solution definition

·      Facilitate structured discovery sessions with customer stakeholders to understand current processes, constraints, and operational requirements.

·      Capture business and functional requirements and translate them into clear, testable specifications suitable for delivery.

·      Produce detailed specification documents and manage customer review and formal sign-off using established documentation templates.

·      Define scope boundaries, success criteria, and acceptance criteria to minimise rework and scope creep.

Project onboarding and implementation readiness

·      Lead onboarding activities prior to deployment, including collecting required customer data and records for system setup and data imports.

·      Coordinate pre-deployment readiness, including system prerequisites and implementation planning with customer administrators and managers.

·      Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure all prerequisites are completed prior to go-live.

Testing, training, and go-live support

·      Coordinate user acceptance testing and formal sign-off, ensuring delivery aligns with the approved specification.

·      Plan and deliver practical, role-based customer training tailored to how each customer operates their business.

·      Support go-live execution and early-life support to stabilise usage and drive adoption.

Documentation and delivery discipline

·      Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including decisions, scope boundaries, change requests, and handover notes.

·      Contribute to continuous improvement by refining templates, checklists, workflows, and onboarding playbooks.

What we are looking for (must have)

·      Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Implementation Consultant, Onboarding Consultant, or similar role delivering ERP or business systems projects.

·      Strong capability in requirements gathering, process mapping, and producing clear, unambiguous specifications.

·      Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and drive decisions to completion.

·      Confident communicator able to work effectively with operational users and IT administrators.

·      Strong attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.

·      Ability to collect, clean, manipulate, and load customer data such as customers, suppliers, products, employees, and documentation into an ERP system using various tools.

·      Ability to define, document, and train customers on workflows for different business processes.

·      Ability to document missing features or workflow gaps for development teams and participate in the full lifecycle of development, testing, deployment, and customer onboarding.

Highly regarded

·      Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, food production, traceability, inventory management, QA, or shopfloor operations.

·      Experience supporting deployment readiness, including infrastructure prerequisites, data import readiness, and pre-go-live checklists.
