About the Opportunity

Ready to accelerate your sales career? Join Metcash Food Service & Convenience as a full time permanent Business Development Representative based in Albury. You'll manage key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver profitable growth across FMCG and Foodservice categories.

Working with a market-leading business, you'll play a key role in helping independent customers thrive while building a rewarding career with one of Australia's leading wholesale and distribution organisations.

In this Role

• Drive profitable sales and margin growth across your territory.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across FMCG and Foodservice categories.
• Execute customer call cycles and maintain strong customer coverage plans.
• Promote new products, categories and promotional programs to customers.
• Analyse sales data and reporting to uncover growth opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
• Maintain accurate reporting, planning and compliance requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Previous sales, account management or business development experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sales growth.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and interpreting sales data.
• A proactive and results-driven approach with a passion for customer success.
• Experience within FMCG, wholesale, foodservice or a related industry will be highly regarded
