About Us
splose is the AI-powered practice management platform powering better health care. Trusted by over 25,000+ Allied Health professionals around the world, splose is purpose-built to free clinicians from admin and let them focus on what matters most - helping people. Backed by leading VC funds EVP, Spectrum Equity, and Athletic Ventures we have recently announced a record-breaking $46M Series A raise - the largest Series A of any South Australian SaaS company ever. We’re growing fast and investing in our product, our people, and our global growth.
The Role
We're scaling fast, and this is where you come in.
We're looking for a technically sharp graduate to join our Engineering team as a Customer Implementation Engineer. You'll sit right at the crossroads of code, operations, and real customer impact, helping thousands of health professionals get up and running on splose every day.
You'll be the first line of support for client data imports and onboarding, working side by side with our Customer Success and Engineering teams. Our customers migrate from all kinds of platforms and tools, spreadsheets included, so you'll regularly work with messy, unstructured data and need to figure it out. But this isn't a helpdesk job. You'll be doing real technical work: investigating problems, writing code, spotting patterns, and improving the systems that power our growth. It's a launchpad role with a clear path into Product Engineering or Data Engineering for someone who wants to earn it.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and resolve stuck or failed data imports, and escalate complex issues to Engineering with clear, reproducible documentation
- Work with data in all shapes and formats, from structured exports to raw spreadsheets, and find a path to getting it cleanly into splose
- Be the connector between Customer Success and Engineering, turning customer pain points into technical context the team can act on
- Own the high-frequency onboarding and integration queries so they stop landing on senior engineers
- Identify manual workflows and friction in our onboarding process, and flag them with enough detail for Engineering and Product to do something about it
- Work alongside engineers on new and evolving PMS (Practice Management System) integrations
- Build documentation that turns what you learn into shared knowledge across the team
- Occasionally liaise directly with customers to gather context needed to investigate an import or onboarding issue
What We're Looking For
- In your final year of, or recently completed, a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
- Foundational coding ability and the confidence to read, write, and talk through simple code
- A structured, methodical approach to debugging and problem-solving
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to hand off issues clearly
- Genuine curiosity about data imports, integrations, or technical implementation
- Self-starters welcome: show us a side project, something you built, or anything technical you did because you wanted to
- Keen to learn Python and Rust
- Based in Adelaide and ready to work on-site with the team in a hybrid environment
- Bonus if you have some experience with direct customer communication
Next Steps
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial screening call by our internal TA team.
