Blue Moon Marketing is expanding into Brisbane, and we're looking for a Client Success Manager to be a founding member of our presence here — someone who can turn good client relationships into great ones, keep accounts thriving, and help them grow.
We're a results-driven marketing agency headquartered in Sydney, with established teams across Sydney and Melbourne — and Brisbane is our next market. We help businesses generate measurable results through lead generation, brand development, and integrated growth campaigns. The Role
This is a client-facing role for a commercially minded marketer who loves owning relationships and driving growth within their portfolio. You'll be the trusted point of contact for our Brisbane clients — guiding them from onboarding through ongoing strategy, making sure they hit their goals, and identifying opportunities to expand the work we do together. You'll also play a part in growing the portfolio through warm referrals and inbound opportunities.
The role begins part-time (3 days per week) and transitions to full-time once you've hit agreed retention and revenue targets — so you control the timeline.
What you'll do
Client Success & Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of Brisbane clients.
- Build deep, trusted relationships by understanding each client's business objectives and marketing needs.
- Oversee delivery of marketing strategies alongside our internal strategists, ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Run regular check-ins, performance reviews, and strategy sessions to keep clients satisfied and surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Manage contract renewals and negotiate scope expansions to grow account value.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records of client interactions, milestones, and communications in the CRM.
- Ensure smooth handovers between strategy and delivery teams for a seamless client experience.
Growth & New Business
- Develop and present tailored proposals that clearly articulate ROI across lead generation, brand growth, and digital strategy.
- Help grow the portfolio through referrals, networking, and warm opportunities in the Brisbane market.
- Run high-quality discovery conversations to understand prospect goals and pain points.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align client expectations with realistic deliverables and timelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our proposals, pitch decks, and client processes.
What you'll bring
Essentials
- 2+ years in client success, account management, or client-facing sales — ideally in marketing, media, or an agency environment.
- Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals: digital marketing, lead funnels, branding, and growth strategy.
- Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — with the confidence to influence and negotiate.
- A proven track record of building client relationships that drive long-term retention and growth.
- A self-starter who can manage their own portfolio and workload with minimal supervision.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for occasional client visits across Brisbane.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a marketing or creative agency.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Go High Level) and pipeline management.
- Ability to grow accounts while managing day-to-day delivery.
- Comfort with performance marketing metrics (CPL, ROAS, conversion rates) for informed client conversations.
