About Rural Energy
Rural Energy is a 100% locally owned provider of solar energy solutions, purpose-built for New Zealand’s dairy farming sector. We’re on a mission to help farmers reduce energy costs and operate more sustainably through our innovative Solar as a Service (SaaS) model.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Customer Success Specialist to become the trusted face of our brand - supporting farmers from sign-up through to installation and beyond.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role where no two days look the same. You’ll be the key link between our customers and internal teams, ensuring a seamless experience from initial sale through to solar installation and ongoing support.
Blending customer success, sales coordination, and field engagement, you’ll spend around 30% of your time on-farm with customers, building strong relationships within the dairy farming community while ensuring every customer journey is smooth, proactive, and positive.
You are a proactive, relationship-driven professional who takes ownership and delivers with care. You bring proven experience in customer success, account management, or sales, and you’re confident building trust quickly through strong, clear communication. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, you’re comfortable managing contracts, administration, and multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
