Implementation Consultant

Zycus is looking for an Implementation Consultant with strong domain expertise in P2P / S2P / Procure-to-Pay / Source-to-Pay / Procurement. The ideal candidate should have hands-on configuration experience with Procurement Software such as Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, Ivalua, GEP SMART, Jaggaer, etc., and a solid understanding of both upstream and downstream modules. Candidates who have worked as Solution Consultants, Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, or Pre-Sales Consultants are highly preferred. Prior consulting experience in implementing or managing Cloud Procurement Suites is also an added advantage.

Role & Responsibilities

Configuration & Solution Design

• Configure procurement modules (Upstream and Downstream) across cloud procurement suites.
• Translate business requirements into functional configurations and maintain configuration documentation.
• Define, configure, and validate workflows, approval hierarchies, master data, reporting dashboards, and ERP/financial integrations.
• Conduct product demonstrations, perform functional testing, and ensure configuration aligns with client needs.
• Provide configuration expertise during enhancements, upgrades, and production support.

Implementation & Delivery

• Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including design, testing, training, reporting, and post-go-live support.
• Drive project delivery ensuring successful, on-time go-live and customer adoption.
• Coordinate with client teams and onsite/offshore engagement teams to gather requirements, finalize deliverables, and manage workplans.
• Ensure quality delivery of engagements both led by self and executed by reportees.

Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a functional SME for Source-to-Pay processes: supplier onboarding, requisitioning, sourcing, contracting, invoicing, and payables.
• Conduct business process mapping, gap analysis, and recommend best practices for procurement transformation.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure alignment with customer objectives and long-term strategy.
• Serve as a customer advocate within Zycus for issue resolution and feature prioritization.

Pre-Sales & Support

• Support pre-sales activities including RFP responses, client orals, and solution demonstrations.
• Manage S2P production support and enhancement requests, partnering with business owners to validate change requirements.
• Identify recurring issue patterns and work with product management/engineering for systemic resolution.

AI-Driven Consulting & Innovation

• Drive AI-led innovation initiatives within Procurement and Source-to-Pay transformation programs.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI, automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows to improve procurement operations and customer outcomes.
• Partner with product, engineering, and customer teams to design innovative AI-powered use cases across sourcing, supplier management, contract management, invoicing, and procurement analytics.
• Recommend process optimization opportunities using AI-enabled insights, automation frameworks, and digital transformation strategies.
• Act as a strategic advisor to customers on emerging trends in AI-driven procurement transformation and intelligent enterprise automation.
• Contribute to building reusable consulting accelerators, AI-driven implementation frameworks, and best practices for scalable customer delivery.
• Support innovation workshops, executive discussions, and solution demonstrations showcasing Zycus’ AI capabilities and procurement innovation roadmap.

Skills Required :

• 3–15 years of consulting experience in S2P/P2P solutions with IT organizations, consulting firms, or software providers.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring Cloud Procurement Suites (Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, Ivalua, GEP SMART, Jaggaer, or similar).
• Proven expertise in solution configuration: workflows, approval hierarchies, master data, reporting dashboards, and ERP/financial system integrations.
• Experience in configuring and delivering product demonstrations and managing end-to-end software implementations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes (upstream & downstream) including sourcing, contracting, supplier management, requisitioning, invoicing, and payments.
• Domain expertise in CLM, Supplier Management, Category Management, Spend Analysis, and Procurement Digitalization.
• Proven ability to facilitate knowledge transfer and translate complex technical concepts into business benefits.
• Exceptional client engagement and communication skills with ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience in change management (MOC), business process re-engineering, and gap analysis.
• Track record of delivering successful, timely, and high-quality software implementations.
• Strong understanding of AI/GenAI use cases in Procurement, ERP, or Enterprise SaaS environments.
• Exposure to automation, intelligent workflows, predictive analytics, or AI-driven business process optimization.
• Ability to think strategically and recommend innovative solutions that improve customer adoption and operational efficiency.
• Passion for emerging technologies, digital transformation, and enterprise AI innovation.
• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate business problems into scalable AI-enabled solutions is preferred.
