THE ROLE

We are seeking a commercially-saavy Implementation Project Manager to be part of our Customer Solutions team responsible for scoping, designing and delivering solutions that enable our Enterprise and Mid-Market customers to extract maximum value from the Shippit product.


This role operates across the full customer lifecycle - from pre-sales discovery, solutioning and scoping, implementation delivery, and into the early life shipping and SaaS period post-go-live to ensure successful activation and adoption.


Project Managers work closely with other Shippit teams to design and deliver solutions for both new customer implementations and for existing customers initiatives.


DAY TO DAY

  • Own pre-sales discovery, scoping and solution design, partnering with Sales and Customer Success to translate customer requirements into proposed Shippit solutions and engagements.
  • Develop tailored Statements of Work (SOWs) and solution documentation, clearly outlining scope, deliverables, timelines, dependencies and pricing.
  • Lead customer discovery workshops and working sessions to understand operational workflows and technical and requirements, and present proposed solutions and delivery plans.
  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of projects from initiation through to go-live for both new and existing customers, ensuring engagements are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to customer expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between customer stakeholders and internal teams, setting expectations, managing risks and driving projects toward successful outcomes.
  • Oversee the early life shipping period following go-live, partnering with internal teams to ensure successful activation, issue resolution and operational readiness.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of implementation playbooks, scoping frameworks and delivery processes to support the scale of Shippit’s delivery capability.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance the customer solutioning process and customer experience.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience in a SaaS implementation role managing large and complex implementation projects - including discovery, solution design, implementation proposals and project handover activities.
  • Strong capabilities in developing tailored statements of work and solution documentation, including activities, deliverables, timelines, and pricing.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and execute multiple project engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Exceptional at breaking large complex projects into smaller streams of work, aligning and coordinating cross functional teams to get outcomes to budget and scope, at scale, and on time.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with experience leading customer workshops, understanding customer operational needs and managing all facets of the project lifecycle.
  • Expert facilitation and training development and delivery capabilities to audiences in-person, virtual and on a one on one and one to many basis for audiences of varied industry and technical experience and knowledge
  • Proven ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional internal teams, ensuring alignment and seamless project execution.
  • Adopter of AI and emerging technology that scale customer experience and productivity on a daily basis.
