About Everingham Legal
Everingham Legal is a specialist legal operations and technology advisory firm that helps in-house legal teams and law firms redesign how legal work gets done. We partner with GCs and legal leaders to improve operational maturity, make smarter technology decisions, and build legal functions that perform as genuine strategic drivers of business value.
The Opportunity
This is a foundational role in a high-growth advisory firm at a genuinely consequential moment for the legal profession. As a Legal Tech CSM, you will work directly alongside the founder to deliver client engagements, build the firm's market presence, and contribute to the systems and intellectual property that underpin Everingham Legal's long-term growth.
You bring deep, hands-on experience delivering legal technology solutions (particularly CLMs). You understand what it takes to get in-house legal teams to genuinely adopt new systems, and you know where implementations go wrong and why. You care about doing things properly: building scalable systems, producing high-quality outputs, and contributing to a practice that is genuinely adding value to the legal profession.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
- Lead and support the delivery of legal technology consulting engagements, with a particular focus on CLM strategy, selection, implementation, and adoption for in-house legal teams
- Develop client deliverables, including technology roadmaps, procurement frameworks, implementation plans, change management strategies, and post-go-live adoption programs
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders (particularly GCs), building relationships that extend well beyond individual engagements
- Support clients through vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and implementation governance, drawing on direct experience working within the legal technology ecosystem
Marketing and Thought Leadership
- Create compelling content for LinkedIn, the Everingham Legal newsletter, website, and other digital channels
- Represent Everingham Legal at industry events (live and virtual), including conferences, roundtables, panels, and speaking opportunities
Knowledge Management and IP Development
- Lead the standardisation and continuous improvement of Everingham Legal's client-facing playbooks, templates, frameworks, tools, and research.
- Build and maintain a structured knowledge base that can be leveraged across engagements.
Research and Market Intelligence
- Maintain a current and granular view of the CLM vendor landscape, including product evolution, competitive positioning, pricing models, integration architecture, and implementation track records
- Track broader developments in legal technology, AI, and legal operations.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience in a customer success, implementation, or solution delivery role at a legal technology company, with direct exposure to in-house legal team environments
- Deep, practical knowledge of contract lifecycle management tools, including platform configuration, workflow design, integration considerations, user adoption, and post-implementation optimisation
- Familiarity with the broader legal technology landscape: adjacent product categories, key vendors, procurement dynamics, and current market trends
- A clear understanding of how in-house legal teams operate, what matters to GCs and legal operations leaders, and where technology initiatives typically succeed or stall
- A collaborative, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and client relationships simultaneously
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including GCs, law firm partners, and C-suite executives
- A law, business, or technology-related degree is valued but not essential; what matters most is the quality and relevance of your delivery experience
What We Offer
- A role with genuine ownership and the opportunity to help shape a firm from the ground up
- A competitive base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Flexible, trust-based working arrangements
- Direct mentorship and close collaboration with an experienced founder
- Access to a growing network of general counsel, legal operations leaders, law firm partners, and technology executives
