We are excited to announce an opening for a National Export Seafreight Operator (or maybe 2) at our vibrant Sydney office! This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking part-time, full-time, or flexible working options. Located conveniently at Matraville, we embrace flexible working models that allow you to balance your professional and personal life seamlessly.
Your purpose:
Ensure the day-to-day sea export operational tasks within client control are undertaken and completed in line with the business and customer requirements
Ensure to deliver daily efficiencies within a paperless working environment
Manage end customer delivery programs and information flows
Complete end to end customer service and export operational functions
Liaising with relevant GEODIS offices, both locally, interstate and overseas
Deliver the specific goals in relation to customer intimacy, value creation, operational excellence and financial improvement
Work closely with the team to create and implement strategies that provide a solid platform to support long term business success
Demonstrate strong awareness and understanding of financial management and cost control
Build and maintain SOPs as required and update when required
Identifying areas for improvement and proposing new solutions
You'll bring:
2+ years' experience in Exports and Industry knowledge and experience
Communication skills
Persuasive and pleasant phone manner
Time management and prioritising skills
Customer service experience
Capable of multi-tasking
Experience with Compay / 1-stop
Cargowise experience preferred but not essential
Strong Operational knowledge
Analytical and negotiation skills
