The Role
We’re looking for an Onboarding Consultant to join our Customer Success team on a contract basis, covering parental leave for up to 12 months.
In this role, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for customers during onboarding, owning the end‑to‑end delivery of onboarding services and ensuring customers achieve value quickly and confidently from the Synergy platform.
*Prior hands‑on experience with the Synergy platform is essential—this role requires someone who can step in and be effective from day one
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary consultant for customers during their onboarding journey, from kickoff through go‑live.
- Lead structured onboarding sessions, guiding customers through configuration, workflows, and best‑practice use of Synergy
- Analyse customer business processes and tailor Synergy to align with their operational needs and terminology
- Configure core areas of the platform, including financial controls, projects, invoicing, reporting, and templates
- Educate and enable customer teams through role‑based training and practical guidance
- Drive onboarding momentum by setting clear expectations, timelines, and customer responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Proactively identify risks or blockers during onboarding and manage them to resolution
- Ensure onboarding outcomes are met and customers are set up for long‑term success with Synergy
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven, hands‑on experience using the Synergy platform
- Familiarity with change management and driving user adoption
- Experience working in or with AEC or professional services environments
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence working directly with senior client stakeholders
- Ability to quickly understand customer business models and translate them into effective system setups
- Excellent communication skills—clear, structured, and customer‑focused
Desirable
- Experience onboarding professional services firms (e.g. architecture, engineering, consulting, or similar
