Operations Manager - ENR

About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Queensland-based business. As the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the efficient delivery of our industry-leading communication solutions to our valued customers. This is a full-time position based in our Brisbane office.

What you'll be doing

• Providing strategic leadership and direction to the operations team to meet key business objectives

• Overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of all operational activities

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and streamline workflows

• Monitoring performance metrics and identifying opportunities for optimisation

• Managing the allocation of resources to ensure operational targets are met

• Fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders

• Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing operations team

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in a senior operations management role, ideally within the mining, resources or energy sectors

• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities

• Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and safety standards

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business or a related field are highly desirable
