WMS Implementation Specialist

We’re looking for a WMS Implementation Specialist to help bring our warehouse management capabilities to life for our customers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with warehouse teams to understand how they operate, configure solutions that fit their world, and guide them through to a successful go-live.

You’ll play a key role in helping customers scale, translating real-world warehouse processes into smart, practical systems, and improving how they operate along the way.

• Deliver end-to-end WMS implementations by working closely with customers to understand how their warehouse operates from receiving through to dispatch  and configure Starshipit to support and improve those workflows.

• Design practical, scalable solutions, translating real-world processes into system configuration, recommending smarter ways of working (e.g. bin structures, picking methods, order routing) and identifying risks early.

• Own configuration and integrations. Set up WMS environments, including locations, inventory, and fulfilment logic, while supporting integrations across ecommerce and ERP systems. Troubleshoot data, configuration, and system issues as they arise.

• Lead testing, training, and go-live. Guide customers through UAT, train warehouse teams (including mobile scanning workflows), and support go-live, providing hands-on help to ensure a smooth transition.

• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering to ensure seamless delivery, contribute to pre-sales where needed, and improve how we implement WMS.

• Proven track record of leading end-to-end implementations of complex operational systems- managing multiple stakeholders, technical configuration, and go-live delivery simultaneously 
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch)
• Deep understanding of how data flows across ecommerce, ERP, and inventory systems, including order, product, and inventory sync and experience configuring or validating API-based integrations between operational platforms 
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose both operational and technical issues
• Comfortable working directly with customers in a hands-on, delivery-focused role
• Clear communicator who can explain systems to warehouse teams
