The Opportunity
This is a key revenue-generating role for a motivated sales professional who enjoys managing the complete sales cycle and building trusted client relationships.
You'll work across new business opportunities generated through outbound activity, referrals, strategic partnerships, marketing campaigns and existing client networks while helping organisations identify the compliance solutions best suited to their needs.
You'll have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders across a broad range of industries, including government, healthcare, aged care, education, not-for-profit and other regulated sectors.
What You'll Be Doing
New Business Development
Own the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through to signed agreement.
Achieve individual revenue and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, strategic partnerships and marketing-generated opportunities.
Identify new opportunities across key regulated industries.
Build strong relationships with executive decision-makers and buying committees.
Discovery & Consultative Selling
Conduct detailed discovery meetings to understand each organisation's compliance obligations, operational challenges and strategic priorities.
Position Law Compliance as a trusted compliance partner through consultative, value-based selling.
Develop tailored recommendations aligned to customer objectives and desired outcomes.
Clearly articulate the value and business benefits of our compliance solutions.
Guide prospective clients through the evaluation and decision-making process.
Product Demonstrations
Deliver engaging demonstrations of Comply Online and Law Compliance's solutions.
Clearly communicate the value of AI-powered functionality, compliance reporting, workflow automation and integrations.
Tailor demonstrations to industry-specific requirements and customer priorities.
Confidently address technical, commercial and compliance-related questions.
Opportunity Management
Manage opportunities through the agreed sales methodology.
Develop proposals, pricing recommendations and commercial responses.
Lead negotiations while balancing customer requirements and commercial objectives.
Maintain ownership of stakeholder engagement, next steps and decision timelines.
Ensure customer requirements and commercial commitments are accurately documented.
Strategic Partnerships
Collaborate with referral partners, alliance partners and GRC technology providers to maximise partnership-generated opportunities.
Develop trusted relationships with partner sales teams.
Support joint sales and business development initiatives.
Customer Handover
Ensure a seamless transition from Sales to the Client Implementation & Onboarding team.
Provide comprehensive handover documentation including customer objectives, agreed deliverables and implementation requirements.
Support onboarding activities where required to ensure customer success.
CRM & Forecasting
Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity stages and customer communications.
Produce reliable revenue forecasts and pipeline reporting.
Monitor pipeline health and sales performance.
Contribute to continual improvement of sales processes and CRM practices.
Collaboration
Work closely with Sales Development Representatives to maximise pipeline generation.
Collaborate with Marketing to improve campaign effectiveness and conversion outcomes.
Share customer insights and feedback with Product, Technology and Leadership teams to support future product development.

About You
You're a commercially driven and customer-focused sales professional who enjoys uncovering business challenges and presenting solutions that create meaningful value.
You combine strong relationship-building skills with commercial acumen and thrive in consultative sales environments where trust and credibility are essential.
You'll likely bring:
Minimum 3 years' experience in SaaS, technology or consultative B2B sales.
Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Experience managing complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders.
Excellent presentation, communication and demonstration skills.
Strong commercial negotiation capability.
Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline and forecasting.
A proactive and results-oriented approach to business development.
Highly Regarded
Experience selling compliance, governance, legal, risk management or regulatory solutions.
Experience selling into highly regulated industries.
Understanding of SaaS subscription and recurring revenue models.
Experience working with strategic partners and referral channels.
Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platforms or compliance technology solutions.
