Role
As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth across Australia. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective partner organisations, managing the full sales cycle, and securing new partnerships that deliver long-term value.
This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone who thrives in outbound environments, enjoys building relationships from scratch, and has a strong track record of generating opportunities through proactive prospecting.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across a range of industries and be trusted to take ownership of your territory, pipeline, and results.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Build and execute targeted outbound sales strategies across key markets and industry sectors.
- Generate opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, referrals, and networking activities.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects.
End-to-End Sales Ownership
- Manage the complete sales process from prospecting and discovery through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to each organisation's needs.
- Drive momentum throughout the sales cycle and maintain a strong focus on conversion.
Consultative Selling
- Understand customer challenges, objectives, and priorities.
- Position solutions using a value-led, consultative approach.
- Build compelling business cases that resonate with both operational and executive stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
- Develop trusted relationships with senior decision makers, procurement teams, and key influencers.
- Navigate complex buying committees and multi-stakeholder environments.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-up throughout the sales process.
Forecasting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking.
- Ensure CRM data remains current, clean, and actionable.
- Provide visibility on pipeline performance and sales activity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Share market intelligence and customer feedback to support ongoing growth initiatives.
Sales Technology & Productivity
- Leverage modern sales technology, AI tools, and prospecting platforms to improve productivity and effectiveness.
- Identify new ways to streamline research, outreach, and opportunity management.

- Government or public sector sales.
- Healthcare, education, community services, emergency services, or related sectors.
