This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in Australia. There’s occasional travel for client site visits and industry roadshows, plus a team get-together once a year in Port Macquarie.

The role

Our Account Manager owns the client relationship from the moment a client joins WAO. You’re the person who helps them optimise Odoo and use it — and its wider ecosystem — to its fullest potential. You’ll be the steady, trusted point of contact our clients rely on, and the person who spots where we can help them next.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business and their goals so they succeed on Odoo

• Own support and optimisation income — cross-selling, upselling and new service offerings

• Take the handover from our delivery team as projects go live, ensuring a smooth transition into ongoing account management

• Proactively surface new opportunities: additional scoping engagements (OSBs), ad-hoc hourly work, new app rollouts and referrals

• Run and coordinate client check-ins, keeping accounts healthy and issues from going quiet

• Work alongside our pre-sales, solutions and delivery teams so the client experience stays seamless end to end

• Keep CRM and Helpdesk clean and up to date so nothing falls through the cracks

Must have

• Strong relationship and account management instincts — you genuinely enjoy looking after clients

• Comfortable using CRM, Helpdesk and Google Suite day to day (you don’t need to be technical on Odoo itself — we’ll bring you up to speed)

• Comfortable working with AI tools, and excited about where AI is heading

• Well organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple accounts without dropping balls

• A “get it done” attitude

Desirable

Bookkeeping or accounting experience

Experience with ERP, SaaS or business software in a pre- or post-sales / customer success capacity

Familiarity with Odoo or similar business systems
