Business Development Manager – Global Cyber Security Solutions Provider

On Offer: $100,000-120,000 + Super + $180-200k OTE Uncapped
  
Our client, backed by significant Private Equity investment, is aggressively expanding their Australian presence. We are seeking a high-performing BDM with a proven track record in cyber security to drive revenue growth and lead the charge in the local market. Offering cutting-edge solutions for safeguarding enterprise data and infrastructure, our client empowers organisations to stay ahead of an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape.
  
The Role:
As a BDM, you will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle—from initial engagement to closing complex, high-value deals. You will act as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives and IT leadership, helping them navigate the complexities of modern cyber defence while scaling our client’s footprint across the ANZ region.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Revenue: Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing enterprise-level contracts.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify and target key accounts within the enterprise and mid-market sectors, leveraging your existing network and internal SDR support.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to uncover critical security vulnerabilities and align our solution suite to the client’s business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless deployments and long-term client retention.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and robust forecast within the CRM, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Market Advocacy: Stay at the forefront of the cyber security landscape, representing the brand at industry events and within executive circles.
To Thrive in This Role, You’ll Ideally Have:
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically within Cyber Security or SaaS.
  • Closing Track Record: A proven history of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strategic Mindset: The ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles and engage effectively with C-Level executives.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to translate technical security concepts into tangible business value.
  • Grit & Autonomy: The resilience to thrive in a high-growth, PE-backed environment where proactive ownership is rewarded.
