Our client is a successful sporting apparel business and has created this brand-new leadership position to strengthen the commercial capability of the business and support its next stage of growth.

You will sit at the intersection of sales, operations and strategy, working alongside senior leaders to improve how the business performs, using data, systems and people to create scalable, sustainable growth.

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day chasing sales. Instead, you'll be identifying opportunities, improving processes, developing reporting, leading a capable team and ensuring the business has the structure and visibility to make smarter commercial decisions.

You'll also maintain relationships with a select group of key customers, ensuring you stay connected to the market and understand what truly drives customer success.

What you'll be doing

•         Developing and executing the commercial strategy across WA.

•         Building accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and performance dashboards.

•         Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting.

•         Leading the implementation of new business systems and improving operational efficiency.

•         Providing leadership, mentoring and support to the WA Sales & Service team.

•         Partnering with Finance, Logistics, Customer Service and Warehouse teams to improve business performance.

•         Managing strategic customer relationships and acting as the escalation point for key accounts.

•         Presenting commercial insights and recommendations directly to the executive leadership team.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys improving businesses just as much as growing them.

You know how to turn data into decisions, build systems that people actually use, and create accountability without creating bureaucracy.

You're commercially minded, naturally collaborative and equally comfortable discussing strategy with executives as you are coaching a team member or working through a customer challenge.

You'll ideally bring:

•         Experience in a commercial, sales operations or business leadership role.

•         Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance and identify growth opportunities.

•         Experience implementing or improving CRM, ERP or business systems.

•         Proven success leading teams and driving change.

•         Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

•         A hands-on approach and genuine passion for continuous improvement.
