You will become part of the One Solution Centre (OSC) Schneider Electric’s premier engineering hub for bespoke power power and cooling infrastructure in the Pacific.
The OSC designs and delivers integrated Low and Medium Voltage solutions, including switchgear, switchboards, prefabricated switchrooms, busway systems, kiosks, transformers and modular substations critical power, and critical cooling. By combining global innovation with disciplined local execution, the team supports customers in achieving their sustainability and performance goals.
About the Role
We're seeking a Cloud & Service Provider Project Engineer to join our One Solutions team and work on some of the most exciting data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to build their technical expertise while gaining exposure to project delivery, commissioning, customer engagement, and commercial outcomes. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and technical specialists, supporting the delivery of end-to-end solutions across critical power, cooling, busway, switchboards, and prefabricated infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the design, installation, and commissioning of mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Acting as a key technical link between engineering, project delivery, sales teams, and customers.
- Assisting with project planning, risk management, scheduling, and technical coordination.
- Working closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Contributing to customer success by helping deliver innovative "One Schneider" solutions.
What we're looking for:
- Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Approximately 3-5 years of engineering experience.
- Exposure to data centres, critical infrastructure, construction, commissioning, or technical project environments.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for solving problems and driving outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with technologies such as UPS, MV/LV switchgear, busway, critical cooling, or related systems is advantageous.
