Redistar is a leading NatHERS, BASIX, and Section J energy compliance consultancy, established in 2008 and trusted by many of Australia's largest volume home builders and developers. We're growing our digital footprint through the Redistar Portal, a platform designed to bring builders, architects, designers, and homebuyers closer to the energy compliance process — with more visibility, better data, and fewer surprises.
We're looking for a Client Onboarding & Platform Adoption Coordinator to lead the rollout of the Redistar Portal across our existing and new client base. This role sits at the intersection of construction industry knowledge and digital platform delivery — you'll work directly with builders, architects, and designers to understand how they operate, and shape the platform's configuration and rollout so it fits naturally into their existing workflows rather than fighting against them.
This is a remote, work-from-home role and can be based anywhere in Australia, although a Sydney location would be preferred, with occasional onsite travel for client presentations, workshops, or key account onboarding sessions. Experience and knowledge of the NSW home building industry is preferred, but candidates from other states with relevant industry experience are welcome to apply. Part-time hours will also be considered for the right candidate.
● Own the end-to-end onboarding journey for new and existing clients being brought onto the Redistar Portal
● Run structured onboarding sessions (video calls, webinars, and occasional onsite presentations) tailored to each client's team and processes
● Work closely with builders, architects, and designers to map their current design, estimating, and approvals workflows, and configure the platform to align with them
● Act as the primary point of contact during onboarding, building trust and confidence in the platform early
● Identify friction points in client workflows and feed these back to the product/development team to inform platform improvements
● Develop and maintain onboarding collateral: guides, walkthroughs, FAQs, and training materials suited to different client roles (design teams, estimators, site teams, sales)
● Track adoption and engagement metrics per client, proactively following up where uptake is lagging
● Coordinate with internal teams (assessors, client support, technical/product) to ensure client-specific configurations are implemented correctly
● Support a small number of onsite visits per quarter for major accounts or complex rollouts, presenting to design, estimating, or sales teams as needed
● Champion the client's voice internally to help prioritise platform features that drive genuine embedment, not just sign-up
● Solid background in new home building/residential construction — ideally with exposure to design, estimating, drafting, or site delivery processes
● Knowledge and experience within the home building industry.
● This role would suit someone who has previously worked in, or is currently working in, a customer service, pre-construction, or drafting coordinator role within a new home builder, with a solid understanding of how those internal workflows and teams operate
● Confidence running client-facing sessions, both online and in person
● Strong communication skills — able to translate platform features into practical value for a non-technical, construction-focused audience
● A methodical, relationship-first approach to onboarding — you're driving embedment and habit change, not just a login
● Comfortable working with software platforms and providing structured feedback to product/development teams
● Self-directed and organised, capable of managing multiple client onboarding journeys concurrently
● Current driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally for onsite client visits
● Prior experience with NatHERS, BASIX, or Section J compliance processes
● Experience in a customer success, implementation, or platform onboarding role
● Familiarity with CRM or client engagement tracking tools
● A genuinely collaborative team environment within an established and respected consultancy
● The opportunity to shape a client-facing platform from the ground up, with real influence over how it's built and rolled out
● A fully remote, work-from-home role, based anywhere in Australia
● Flexibility on hours, with part-time arrangements considered
● Occasional, purposeful travel for high-value client engagements
