We are seeking an industry experienced and motivated Commercial & Trade Account Manager to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand our presence within the commercial construction, glazing, fabrication, building and trade sectors.

Supported by our local Queensland manufacturing operations, experienced sales estimators, project managers and technical team, you will have the resources and backing required to succeed.

About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Group Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial and trade customers while identifying opportunities to increase market share and revenue growth.

You will work closely with key accounts, builders, contractors, fabricators, project managers, architects and trade customers to understand their requirements and deliver tailored aluminium and glass project solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales revenue growth targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts and commercial and trade customers.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial construction, glazing, shopfitting, façade, industrial and trade sectors.

  • Conduct regular customer and site visits along with business development activities throughout Australia.

  • Prepare and present solutions, proposals and quotations in collaboration with our estimating team.

  • Coordinate closely with manufacturing, project management and customer service teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Monitor market activity, competitor movements and industry trends.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline reporting within the CRM system.

  • Represent the business professionally at industry events, networking opportunities and customer functions.

 About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally possess:

  • Proven sales and account management experience within aluminium, glass, construction, building products, architectural products or related industries.

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts and win new business.

  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

  • A customer-first approach with a genuine passion for delivering solutions.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Self-motivation, resilience and a results-driven mindset.

  • Current driver's license.

  • Willingness to travel domestically.
