About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious Customer Growth Manager who enjoys building relationships, driving customer outcomes and helping businesses grow.

You'll own a portfolio of school and education sector customers, helping them successfully adopt our platform while identifying opportunities to increase engagement, improve retention, expand usage and drive long-term customer value.

You'll work closely with our Sales, Product and Marketing teams, acting as the voice of the customer while using data, technology and commercial thinking to help shape both customer success and company growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Success

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong long-term relationships

  • Lead onboarding and implementation for new customers

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and strategic account reviews

  • Become a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve successful outcomes

Growth & Commercial Success

  • Drive customer adoption and platform utilisation

  • Identify opportunities for account growth, upgrades and expansion

  • Lead renewal conversations and maximise customer retention

  • Work towards commercial growth targets and customer success KPIs

Events & Customer Engagement

  • Represent The Careers Department at conferences, exhibitions and industry events across Australia.

  • Present our platform to prospective and existing customers through webinars, workshops and live demonstrations.

  • Build relationships with school leaders, educators and industry partners through networking and customer events.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver engaging customer experiences that strengthen our brand and support business growth.

Product & Data

  • Analyse customer usage data and identify opportunities to improve engagement

  • Monitor customer health and proactively reduce churn risk

  • Gather customer feedback to influence future product development

  • Collaborate with Product to improve customer experience

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work alongside Sales to ensure smooth customer handovers

  • Partner with Marketing on customer engagement initiatives

  • Support Product launches and feature adoption

  • Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and customer experience


About You

We're less interested in whether you've worked in education, and more interested in finding someone who loves building relationships, solving problems and helping customers succeed.

You'll likely have experience in:

You'll also bring:

  • Confidence presenting software and running customer meetings

  • A proactive attitude and ability to work independently

  • Curiosity about technology and digital products

  • A desire to work in a growing, fast-paced business

Experience in education or edtech is welcomed but definitely not essential.
