About the Role
This is a relationship-focused role where you'll be responsible for managing and growing existing client relationships whilst identifying opportunities to expand services and generate new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor and conduct regular account reviews and proactive client check-ins
Develop and maintain account plans, including objectives, risks, renewals, and growth opportunities
Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
Manage contract renewals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and service recommendations
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the company's service offerings
Generate and qualify new business opportunities through phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking activities
Research prospective clients and identify opportunities within target markets
Conduct outreach activities and schedule discovery meetings and re-engage dormant accounts and support lead generation campaigns
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and opportunity records within the CRM
Track account activities, opportunities, and client communications and report on key performance metrics, including outreach activity, qualified leads, and account growth
Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings and support webinars, technology briefings, and customer education sessions
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
You'll ideally bring:
Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services, Business Development, or a similar client-facing role
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple priorities
Experience using CRM platforms to manage customer relationships and opportunities and/or ticketing systems
Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
Experience within the IT, telecommunications, managed services (MSP), cloud, or technology sectors
Exposure to consultative selling, account growth, or customer retention strategies
Experience presenting to clients or facilitating business discussions
