Reporting to the Strategy and Planning Lead, the Customer Success Manager role sits within Ventia’s Infrastructure Services’ Strategy and Growth team, and plays a key role in owning, strengthening and growing Ventia’s most important customer relationships.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to customers and making things happen - whether you already have experience in Customer Success or Strategic Account Management, or you’ve built strong commercial and stakeholder capability in an adjacent role such as bid management, sales, consulting or account support and are ready to step into a more strategic position.
You’ll be trusted to lead conversations, engage confidently with senior stakeholders and help embed a more disciplined, customer led approach to how Ventia manages its key accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of Strategic Account Management for priority customers
- Lead structured account planning, Annual Expectation Meetings and Independent Reviews
- Build trusted relationships with senior and executive level stakeholders, lifting the conversation beyond day to day operations
- Identify and manage retention risks, renewal opportunities and growth pathways
- Translate customer insight into clear actions, service improvements and growth initiatives, and support follow through with internal teams
- Drive organic growth, including proactive and unsolicited proposals
- Facilitate workshops, presentations and forums that bring the Voice of the Customer into the business
- Influence outcomes across operational, commercial and leadership teams without direct authority

- Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Bid Management, Sales, Consulting, Commercial or a related role
- Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding service based contracts and customer value
- High emotional intelligence and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills - comfortable presenting, facilitating workshops and leading discussions
- A proactive, accountable approach and a willingness to step forward and own outcomes
- A structured, insight led way of thinking about customer needs and long term value
