We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to serve as the trusted partner to a portfolio of strategic customers.
This is a relationship-driven role suited to someone who enjoys understanding customer challenges, providing technical guidance, and building long-term partnerships. Rather than focusing on high-volume sales activity, you’ll be responsible for nurturing existing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service and support.
You’ll work closely with internal teams across production, operations, procurement, finance, and business development to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements while maintaining a high standard of communication and professionalism throughout the customer journey.
What You’ll Be Doing - Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic customer accounts
- Building trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, operations, and commercial stakeholders
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable technical solutions
- Supporting customers through product selection, quoting, order management, and ongoing account support
- Identifying opportunities to expand existing relationships through additional products and services
- Coordinating internally to ensure customer expectations are met regarding delivery, lead times, and product availability
- Supporting the onboarding of new customers and ensuring a smooth transition into long-term account management
- Working with suppliers and procurement teams to source products and manage customer-specific requirements
- Maintaining accurate account documentation, forecasts, and CRM records
What We’re Looking For - Significant experience in technical sales, account management, customer success, or business development
- Ability to build strong relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Strong technical aptitude and confidence in discussing products and specifications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High level of organisation, attention to detail, and personal accountability
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams
- Someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers solve problems and achieve successful outcomes
Valuable Experience - Electronics, RF, telecommunications, industrial technology, manufacturing, or engineering environments
- Technical product sales or account management
- Procurement, sourcing, or supply chain coordination
- CRM systems and customer account planning
- E-commerce or online sales channels
