The role

Our Head of Growth leads MAINSTREAM's company-wide mandate to grow our footprint at home and overseas, operating at pace across Australia, the UK and the Middle East. This portfolio has doubled in the last 12 months, and we're forecasting it to double again over the next 12.

Think of this role as being the right hand to a dynamic, brilliant leader — part executive partner, part sales-and-marketing coordinator, part chief organiser. You'll turn the Head of Growth's ideas into actionable plans, keep a wide-ranging international portfolio running smoothly, and stay close to customers across three regions. What you'll be doing

• Act as the right hand to the Head of Growth – turning their ideas into actionable plans

• Map and progress customer opportunities in our CRM and sales dashboard

• Create, send and monitor quotes and proposals

• Prepare and send contracts for training engagements

• Arrange Microsoft Teams and Zoom calls with existing and prospective customers

• Manage the Head of Growth's schedules and appointments across Australian, UK and Middle East time zones

• Provide prompt, concise responses to customer queries

• Support MAINSTREAM's international growth initiatives and overseas expansion work

• Keep documents, follow-ups and deadlines on track, and track pipeline and reporting in Excel and our CRM

• Be obsessed with customer success and service – look after clients and make every interaction a great one

• Liaise with the marketing and sales teams to keep operations running smoothly

• Attend annual conferences in Melbourne, Perth and the UK

• Travel interstate and to regional towns as needed

• Develop yourself professionally and personally in an amazing, values-based environment

Who you are

• Sales- and marketing-oriented, with a genuine interest in how businesses grow

• Exceptionally organised, with the ability to thrive in controlled chaos

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong in Excel and CRM systems – comfortable managing data, documents and reporting

• Obsessed with customer success service – you love looking after people

• A natural ability to talk to customers on the phone

• Driven by sales targets, incentives and commissions

• Tenacious and determined to get things done properly

• Agile and adaptable – comfortable working across multiple tasks, and time zones, at once

• Proactive and trustworthy with information – you anticipate rather than wait to be asked

• Keen to learn and develop your marketing and sales skills

• A great sense of humour and the ability to handle the unexpected with finesse
