Green Light are currently looking for a Head of Project Delivery to join our Strategic Practices team, based in Canberra or Sydney.
Head of Project Delivery – Strategic Practices will be responsible for establishing, leading, and maturing Green Light's project delivery capability across key strategic technology practices.
Initially focused on supporting the growth and successful delivery of projects within the Broadcom Practice, the role will be responsible for creating a repeatable and scalable delivery model that can be leveraged across additional strategic practices including Red Hat, Nutanix, Hitachi, and future growth areas.
This is a leadership role focused on building delivery excellence. The successful individual will define governance, delivery methodologies, operational frameworks, and capability development programs that enable Green Light to consistently deliver high-quality customer outcomes while supporting business growth and profitability.
Responsibilities: Delivery Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute Green Light's strategic project delivery vision across multiple technology practices.
- Establish a scalable and repeatable delivery operating model that supports growth across Broadcom, Red Hat, Nutanix, Hitachi, and future strategic partnerships.
- Develop and implement delivery governance, standards, methodologies, reporting, and quality frameworks.
- Lead delivery planning, resource management, and project execution to ensure consistent customer outcomes.
- Drive a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
Delivery Capability & Maturity
- Build and mature Green Light's project delivery capability, including frameworks, templates, processes, tools, and best practices.
- Establish a Delivery Centre of Excellence that promotes consistency and delivery excellence across practices.
Practice Growth & Enablement
- Partner closely with Practice Leads, Sales, Solution Architects, and Leadership teams to support business growth objectives.
- Develop repeatable service delivery models and packaged offerings that improve delivery efficiency and customer outcomes.
People Leadership- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and Project Coordinators.
Customer & Commercial Management
- Act as the executive delivery sponsor for key customer engagements.
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Monitor project financial performance, margins, forecasting, utilisation, and delivery profitability.
- Drive customer satisfaction, reference ability, and identification of follow-on opportunities.

Skills:
Essential
- 10+ years' experience in project, program, PMO, or delivery leadership roles within technology services, consulting, or systems integration environments.
- Demonstrated success building or transforming delivery functions and operating models.
- Strong experience establishing governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, PMO functions, and operational processes.
- Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent programs, projects, and delivery teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project financials, forecasting, utilisation, and profitability.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
- Experience leading organisational change and delivery transformation initiatives.
Desirable
- Experience within enterprise infrastructure, cloud, hybrid IT, automation, cybersecurity, or modernisation programs.
- Exposure to Broadcom, Red Hat, Nutanix, Hitachi, VMware, cloud platforms, or adjacent enterprise technology ecosystems.
- Professional certifications including PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent.
- Experience establishing Delivery Centres of Excellence or PMOs.
