Salt is proud to be partnering with global leading Software Brand to recruit an experienced Software License Advisory Consultant to join their ANZ Customer Experience business.

This is a unique opportunity for a software licensing professional who thrives on solving complex commercial challenges, building trusted customer relationships and turning licensing insights into strategic business outcomes. You will play a pivotal role helping enterprise customers optimise their software investments while driving compliance, reducing risk and identifying revenue growth opportunities.

Some of the responsibilities are not limited to

  • Advise enterprise customers on software licensing compliance and optimisation.
  • Analyse licensing and usage data to identify compliance risks and commercial opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales and Account teams to convert compliance events into revenue growth.
  • Lead consultative discussions with C-suite, IT and Procurement stakeholders.
  • Deliver licensing education and strategic advisory services.
  • Produce insightful reporting and recommendations using licensing and usage data.
  • Help shape best practice licensing framework across ANZ.

Selection Criteria

  • 5+ years' experience in Software Licensing, License Compliance, Software Asset Management (SAM) or Enterprise Software Consulting.
  • Ideal candidate would come from a Software company, or a software consultancy companies and roles may vary from Software Licensing Consultant, Software Asset Management Consultant, License Compliance Manager, Enterprise Renewals Manager, Software Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Licenses Specialist and Consultants
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models, contracts and compliance methodologies.
  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage complex commercial conversations.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience identifying opportunities that improve customer outcomes while supporting revenue growth.
