Marketing Under-Graduate- Part-time

SMA Australia has a part-time position available for proactive and organised Marketing Under-graduate to support the delivery of marketing activities for our Large-Scale Solutions business across ANZ. The position is hybrid ie, a mix of working from home and working at our North Sydney office.

About the role

Working closely with Sales, Engineering and global Marketing teams, you will gain hands-on experience in B2B marketing within the renewable energy industry. You will help coordinate integrated marketing campaigns, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), digital marketing, events, content development, CRM and marketing automation activities, and customer engagement initiatives that strengthen SMA's brand and support business growth in the utility-scale renewable energy market.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Support the planning and coordination of customer events, trade shows, webinars and industry conferences, including logistics, registrations, invitations, promotional materials and post-event follow-up.
• Assist with the creation and coordination of marketing content, including newsletters presentations, sales enablement materials, website updates and social media content.
• Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, email marketing and marketing automation activities.
• Assist with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives and targeted marketing campaigns for strategic customer segments.
• Help develop customer success stories, case studies and reference projects that showcase SMA's solutions and expertise.
• Support CRM activities, including lead tracking, campaign administration, reporting and data management.
• Conduct market, competitor and industry research to support marketing planning and business development.
•  Provide general marketing and administrative support to the Marketing team.

Experience & Skills

• Currently studying towards a Bachelor's degree (2nd year or above) or a Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a corporate environment through an internship, part-time role or work placement.
• Strong event coordination skills.
• Some exposure to B2B marketing, ideally within a technical, engineering or industrial environment
• Some experience with digital marketing, email marketing and social media.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and coordinate marketing content.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing platforms (CRM, CMS or marketing automation systems is desirable).
• A proactive, collaborative and hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
