Melbourne, VIC | Full-Time, Permanent | Competitive Salary | Rolling Start Date
Who Are We?
Halo is a fast-growing software company, building innovative service management platforms for a global audience from our UK, US and Australian offices. Our systems help businesses and organisations of all kinds streamline their internal processes and gain efficiency. Our experienced team has worked with prestigious organisations including Sky TV, Sony and the Wesfarmers, and we have ambitious plans to scale quickly over the next few years.
Our Australian office is based in Melbourne and was established in 2019. Right now, we’re looking for driven, proactive and innovative communicators to help grow our Australian business. You’ll play a pivotal role in our success from day one, working collaboratively with our friendly team across the globe whilst in direct contact with the Australian senior management team.
Your New Role…
In your first few months at Halo, you’ll be immersed in our software, our customers and the way we sell. This will include 1-2-1 training with your designated mentor, shadowing experienced Account Executives on live demonstrations and discovery calls, and plenty of hands-on practice, including AI-powered roleplay to sharpen your pitch. Throughout this time you’ll receive full training, regular progression meetings with your manager, and salary increases based on your performance.
Once you’ve built your confidence, you’ll take ownership of the top of our sales pipeline. Day to day, that means researching businesses that could benefit from Halo, reaching out to the right people by phone, email and LinkedIn, understanding their challenges, and booking qualified product demos for our Account Executives.
This is where your career really opens up. Hit your targets and you won't just progress within the SDR team, you'll have the platform to grow in whatever direction excites you most. Some of our people step up into Senior SDR, Account Executive or Team Lead roles, while others move across into customer success, professional services, product, marketing or operations. We only promote from within and genuinely back our people to build the careers they want, so the opportunities here really are endless.
