About Us

We're a successful software company with a team spanning Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Thailand, specialising in dealer management systems for retail dealerships across automotive, trucking, agriculture and construction equipment. Over the last 35 years, we've brought a number of industry-leading dealer management systems to market, helping our clients run their dealerships more effectively, efficiently and profitably.

Auto IT is wholly owned by The Perseus Group, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc., a well-capitalised, global publicly traded company specialising in vertical market software.

It's an exciting time for our business. With offices globally, we offer career progression and professional development as part of a team dedicated to supporting clients across the Asia Pacific region.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of implementation projects across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on projects touching the Sales, Admin, and Finance functions of our dealership customers.

Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, you will own the end-to-end project lifecycle — from scoping and planning through to delivery, customer handover, and post-implementation support — ensuring our clients get maximum value from the Auto-IT platform.

This is a customer-facing project delivery role that combines project management discipline with credible dealership Admin and Finance domain knowledge. You will be the steady hand keeping complex customer projects on track and the trusted advisor helping Dealer Principals and Finance leaders navigate change.

Candidates must have existing Australian work authorisation at the time of application.

What You Will Be Doing

As Service Delivery Manager, you will:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, resourcing, execution, and closure

  • Deliver projects remotely and on-site to support Go-Lives, training, workshops, and other project activities across ANZ and SEA

  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and agreed timeframes while maintaining high customer satisfaction

  • Maintain up-to-date project tracking including resource time, project budgets, and milestone completions

  • Provide regular project status updates to Customer Success Managers, Customer Growth Managers, and customer stakeholders including Dealer Principals

  • Coordinate Customer Support & Implementation Representatives and Data Services Consultants across active projects

  • Act as a subject matter expert across dealership Sales, Admin, and Finance process areas

  • Establish effective relationships with Customer Success and Customer Growth Managers, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and success metrics

  • Scope new customer projects in partnership with the Professional Services Manager

  • Contribute to quotes, proposals, and Statements of Work

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and resource needs during the project scoping phase

 What You Need to Have

  • 3+ years' experience in project management, implementation, or professional services roles

  • Experience delivering enterprise software implementations, ideally within DMS or SaaS platforms

  • Proven track record in resource management, time tracking, and project financial management

  • Previous customer-facing experience with a strong service delivery mindset

  • Working knowledge of dealership Admin, Finance, or Sales operations — either from a prior dealership role (Financial Controller, Dealership Administrator, Fixed Operations Manager) or from delivering software projects into these functions

  • Solid understanding of DMS platforms, SaaS onboarding, and implementation best practice

  • Working understanding of data migration, configuration, reporting principles, API integrations, SQL queries, and basic system configuration

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana)

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills

  • Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (10-25%)

What It Would be Nice for You to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Project Management (or equivalent experience)

  • Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2)

  • Prior experience as a Financial Controller, Dealership Administrator, Fixed Operations Manager

  • Experience delivering software projects across multiple regions (ANZ, SEA)

  • Career progression

  • Competitive salary, plus profit sharing and achievement bonuses

  • Hybrid and remote working arrangements

  • Meaningful work across a mix of simple and complex issues

  • Supportive team environment

  • Training and development
