About the Role
We are seeking a
Technical Support Representative to join our Product Lifecycle Services team and provide exceptional technical support to a portfolio of major mining clients across Western Australia. In this customer-focused role, you will work closely with site personnel, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to maximise equipment performance, drive customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for parts and service growth.
As a Technical Support Representative, you will act as a trusted advisor to key customers, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting support, defect management, and ongoing product lifecycle care for mining buckets, truck trays, wear packages, and related mobile equipment solutions.
Your ability to build lasting customer relationships while delivering practical technical solutions will be critical to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the trusted technical partner for a portfolio of mining customers, delivering expert advice, resolving equipment issues, and helping maximise asset performance throughout the product lifecycle. You'll work closely with customers, engineering, sales, and service teams to provide practical solutions while supporting business growth and continuous improvement.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Providing technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and site-based customer support.
- Conducting inspections, performance reviews, and recommending maintenance and reliability improvements.
- Managing defect investigations, warranty claims, and resolution processes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the commissioning and performance monitoring of new trays, buckets, and mining equipment.
- Identifying opportunities for parts and service sales within existing customer accounts.
- Building strong customer relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Gathering field feedback, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with Engineering to improve product performance and durability.
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation, reporting, and inspection records
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in technical services, customer support, field service, maintenance, or account management.
- Experience within mining, mobile equipment, heavy industry, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of haul truck trays, mining buckets, wear parts, or mobile equipment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as MYOB EXO or similar.
Desirable: - Project Management qualifications.
- Equipment maintenance, diagnostics, or asset management certifications.
- Experience supporting mechanical engineering teams.
