We are seeking a commercially driven and customer-focused Territory Account Manager – Civil to drive growth across our Civil portfolio, supporting customers with industry-leading machine control, site solutions, positioning, and automation technologies.

The Role

This is a relationship-focused sales and business development role responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer partnerships, and expanding Aptella's presence across the civil construction and infrastructure market.

You'll work closely with contractors, project teams, business owners, and industry stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and project outcomes.

Whether supporting major infrastructure projects, working with earthmoving contractors, or helping customers adopt the latest machine control technologies, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of construction technology across your territory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive sales growth across machine control, site solutions, GPS, laser, and positioning technologies

  • Build strong customer relationships and become a trusted advisor within your territory

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across civil construction, infrastructure, earthmoving, and related industries

  • Develop and execute territory and account growth plans

  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and solution-based sales conversations

  • Prepare and present proposals that align customer requirements with business outcomes

  • Collaborate with technical, service, and operational teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technology opportunities

  • Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and customer engagement activities

  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and opportunity management through CRM systems

About You

You are a proactive and commercially focused sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for technology and customer success.

You bring:

  • Experience in business development, account management, or technical sales within civil construction, earthmoving, infrastructure, surveying, or related industries

  • Strong understanding of machine control, positioning, GPS, laser, or construction technology solutions

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships and identify growth opportunities

  • Strong commercial acumen and a solutions-focused mindset

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confidence working autonomously while collaborating across multiple teams

  • Willingness to travel throughout your territory to support customers and develop new business opportunities

Experience with machine guidance, GNSS positioning, site solutions, payload systems, automation technologies, or heavy equipment technology will be highly regarded.
