Reporting to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities while developing long-term relationships with referral partners and clients.
This is a hybrid role offering a combination of office-based work, client meetings and remote flexibility, with regular travel throughout Melbourne and surrounding regions.
Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities to achieve growth targets
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects
Develop strong referral partnerships with mortgage brokers, real estate agents, accountants and financial advisers
Conduct client meetings to understand lending requirements and deliver tailored solutions
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance objectives
Represent the business at networking events, industry functions and community engagements
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities
Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, sales performance and conversion metrics
Collaborate with internal lending, credit and customer service teams to ensure an exceptional client experience
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Mortgage Broking, Lending or Financial Services
Strong understanding of home loans, refinancing, lending or related financial products
Demonstrated success in developing new business and achieving sales targets
Exceptional relationship-building, networking and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously
Strong commercial acumen and a customer-first mindset
Excellent organisational and time management skills
