We’re looking for an experienced communications and stakeholder engagement professional to help strengthen our industry presence, support product communications, coordinate client events, and build meaningful relationships across our client and supplier network.
This is not a sales or business development role.
We are looking for someone who understands how to build trusted professional relationships, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and turn conversations and operational insights into valuable industry content and engagement.
About the Role
This is a broad and hands-on role combining:
Communications
Public relations
Stakeholder engagement
Content development
Social media management
Event coordination
Client relationship management
You’ll work closely with leadership, product teams, consultants, clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to help communicate what we do and why it matters.
The role will play an important part in supporting the rollout and communication of new initiatives, product functionality, customer success stories, and industry engagement activities.
We have teams operating in Perth and Melbourne however this role can be based anywhere within Australia while working from home if preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Communications & Content
Manage company social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
Coordinate LinkedIn content and executive thought leadership posts
Develop blogs, feature announcements, release communications, and customer stories
Conduct interviews with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Create case studies and supporting marketing collateral
Coordinate internal and external communications around product updates and initiatives
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with:
Client marketing and operational teams
Suppliers and manufacturers
Trades and subcontractors using JobFile
Industry stakeholders
Identify and develop opportunities for customer advocacy and collaboration
Gather industry feedback and insights to support marketing and product initiatives
Events & Industry Engagement
Coordinate breakfast roadshows and client/prospect events across multiple Australian states
Manage event logistics, communications, promotion, and follow-up
Support broader industry engagement activities and partnerships
About You
You are a strong communicator who is equally comfortable interviewing clients, writing a case study, coordinating an event, or managing professional stakeholder relationships.
You’ll ideally have:
A degree in Communications with a Public Relations major (or similar)
5–10 years’ experience in communications, PR, stakeholder engagement, or marketing roles
Experience working within an industry environment such as:
Residential building
Construction
Mining
Oil & gas
Property or infrastructure
Strong writing, interviewing, and communication skills
Experience developing case studies and stakeholder-focused content
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
The ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Experience within residential construction or construction technology will be highly regarded.
Travel Requirements
This role requires interstate travel for client and industry events, averaging 6 or more trips per year.
