We are now looking for a highly proactive, detail-oriented and commercially minded Client Success & Growth Manager to become a key leader within our business.
This is not a passive account management role.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves client relationships, thrives on communication, enjoys networking and attending events and takes real ownership of client success, retention and experience.
You’ll be the primary relationship lead for a portfolio of clients, ensuring campaigns move forward, communication remains proactive, risks are identified early, and clients feel exceptionally supported at every stage of their journey with HeartBeat Digital.
You’ll work closely with our CEO, COO, Digital Strategist, Account Management and delivery teams, while also helping shape the future of our client success systems, AI workflows and automation processes.
About the Role

You’ll be expected to:
Lead and manage day-to-day communication for your portfolio of clients
Conduct monthly and quarterly client review meetings via video calls
Proactively identify churn risks, client concerns and growth opportunities
Ensure all client communication, follow-ups and actions are documented accurately
Coordinate internal teams to ensure projects stay on track and clients remain informed
Record client meetings, maintain detailed notes and utilise transcripts to improve continuity and retention
Review and quality-check AI-assisted reporting commentary and client communications
Use AI tools and automation platforms to improve efficiency and client experience
Support onboarding and ensure clients feel confident, informed and excited from day one
Occasionally attend Melbourne-based networking events, conferences, strategy days and in-person client meetings. Interstate travel may be required on rare occasions for conferences or client visits, with ample notice provided and travel and accommodation expenses covered.
Help strengthen and improve our internal systems, automations and operational processes over time

Essential Experience & Skills
4+ years’ experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services or Digital Marketing
Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals including SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads and reporting
Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously
Experience using CRM/project management platforms such as ClickUp, Go High Level or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and prioritisation abilities
High attention to detail and process adherence
Confidence using AI tools in day-to-day workflows
Bonus Points If You
Have worked in a digital marketing agency environment
Have experience improving workflows, operational systems or automations across platforms such as ClickUp, Slack and Go High Level
Have experience working with AI assistants, AI tools or automation-driven workflows
Enjoy networking and representing businesses publicly
Have experience interpreting digital marketing reports and campaign performance data
Have worked with healthcare or professional services clients
Employment Type & Hours
This role is flexible and may be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis (3–5 days per week), depending on the experience, capability and availability of the successful candidate, as well as the evolving needs of the business.
For the right person, we are open to structuring this role initially as a part-time position, with the opportunity to increase hours over time as the role and client portfolio grows.
Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and scope, with salary and benefits pro-rated accordingly for part-time arrangements.

This role is heavily client-facing and communication-driven. We are specifically looking for someone who enjoys being on calls, engaging with clients regularly and building strong long-term relationships.
