Client Value and Growth Executive

Asset Vision is growing, and we’re looking for a Client Value and Growth Executive to help expand our work with local government and community infrastructure organisations across Australia.

This is a consultative commercial role for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, understanding customer challenges and helping organisations see how technology can improve the way they manage community assets.

You’ll work closely with councils and infrastructure teams, helping them explore how Asset Vision can support better asset visibility, maintenance planning, inspections, works management and long-term decision making.

About the role

As Client Value and Growth Executive, you’ll play a key role in growing Asset Vision’s Civic & Community sector. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and supporting existing customers to get more value from the platform.

This role suits someone who can combine commercial discipline with a genuine interest in client outcomes. You’ll be comfortable speaking with senior leaders, asset managers, engineering teams, finance teams and operational users, and you’ll be able to translate their needs into practical, relevant solutions.

You’ll also support tenders, proposals, demonstrations and discovery conversations, helping prospective clients understand how Asset Vision can support their organisation.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

• Build and manage a pipeline of new opportunities across local government and community infrastructure sectors
• Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including executives, directors, asset managers, engineering teams and finance leaders
• Facilitate discovery conversations to understand each organisation’s asset management challenges, priorities and operating environment
• Present Asset Vision’s platform in a clear, practical and compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support tender and proposal responses, including solution narratives, compliance responses and commercial input
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing Civic & Community customers
• Identify opportunities for customers to expand their use of Asset Vision, including additional modules, services and broader deployments
• Work closely with delivery, product, sales and leadership teams to ensure customer needs are understood and well supported
• Maintain accurate pipeline records and forecasts in HubSpot
• Represent Asset Vision at industry events, conferences and sector forums

About you

You’re likely to be someone with experience in enterprise software, technology solutions, professional services, asset management, local government or infrastructure-related environments.

You may have worked in business development, account management, customer success, pre-sales, consulting or solution advisory. What matters most is your ability to build trust, understand complex customer needs and guide opportunities through to a successful outcome.

You’ll bring:

• Experience in account management, business development, pre-sales, customer success or consultative sales
• Strong relationship-building skills across executive, operational and technical stakeholders
• The ability to run structured discovery conversations and understand customer requirements
• Confidence presenting technology solutions and business value to different audiences
• Experience responding to tenders, proposals or procurement processes
• Commercial acumen and an understanding of how to structure sound customer agreements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive and organised approach to pipeline, account planning and follow-up
• A genuine interest in helping local government and infrastructure teams improve how they manage assets and services

Highly regarded

The following experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential:

• Experience working with local government, transport, utilities or community infrastructure organisations
• Understanding of asset management, works management, inspections, maintenance or GIS
• Experience with enterprise asset management platforms or SaaS solutions
• Knowledge of Australian public sector procurement processes
• Familiarity with ISO 55000 or asset management planning frameworks
• Existing relationships across local government or community infrastructure sectors

Location

This role is open to candidates across Australia. We offer flexible and hybrid working, with occasional travel to Melbourne, client sites and industry events as required.
