Country Manager – Excavator Attachments-Oceania (Australia and New Zealand)
Steelwrist is currently the fastest-growing manufacturer of Tiltrotators and quick couplers in the world. Our vision is to be “Best in the world at developing, manufacturing, and selling advanced attachments and tools that help increase the efficiency of excavators.”
Due to an internal international transfer, we are now looking for a new Country Manager for the Oceania region – a driven, strategic, and hands-on leader with a passion for excavator efficiency and the ability to drive sales, technology change, and customer success.
Your Role – Lead and Grow Steelwrist in Oceania
As Country Manager for Oceania, you will be responsible for building and leading all aspects of our business in the region – from customer relationships and sales to operations and strategic partnerships. You will play a key role in scaling our market presence and delivering outstanding service to customers across Oceania.
This is a high-impact role with a mix of leadership, hands-on sales activity, and cross-functional collaboration. You will also work closely with various functions in Steelwrist’s headquarters in Sweden.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Steelwrist’s commercial operations in Oceania with ownership of sales, customer support and local growth strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, dealers and OEMs.
Represent Steelwrist at industry trade shows, customer events and partner meetings
Coordinate local efforts across sales, support, and training to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with HQ and regional leadership to align goals, reporting directly to the Regional VP Sales APAC
Oversee administrative and logistical tasks related to the country operation, including budgeting and planning.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in sales and/or business development – preferably in the construction equipment, attachments or related technology sectors
Previous experience in a leadership or senior commercial role is a strong plus
A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently while building a team over time.
Strong communication skills and network in the industry.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills – you thrive in front of customers
High level of business acumen, organisational skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit
Willingness to travel frequently within the Oceania region and occasionally internationally
