Cleaner Future is one of Australia's fastest-growing names in commercial hygiene chemicals, sanitation and dispensing equipment — and we're scaling fast. Our model is part product, part service: we place equipment with clients on loan and amortise it across the contract term, so getting the numbers right isn't back-office admin — it's the engine of the business. We serve key sectors including food and beverage, healthcare, education, health and wellness, and hotels and housekeeping, through a dual go-to-market model: direct sales across Australia alongside our distributor network.
We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to own that engine. This is a broad, high-impact role for someone who lives in the detail but never gets stuck in it — partnering across finance, admin, customer success and the warehouse to turn tight numbers into sharp operational outcomes. You'll own reporting to the Managing Director and the board, drive budgeting, forecasting and cashflow, and be our Cin7 champion as we grow. If you want a seat where finance genuinely shapes where the company goes next, this is it.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll own the day-to-day finance function and act as a true business partner across every department. The role spans:
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cashflow — Lead the annual budget with the Director and department heads; build forecasts that maximise cashflow; monitor daily cash to keep every commitment paid on time; issue each department its monthly budget and weekly cost-and-sales tracking updates.
Financial & Board Reporting — Deliver accurate, on-time monthly reports to the Managing Director and a monthly board report for shareholders; own balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, analysis, and the customer reports required under client agreements; build and maintain operational reporting.
Accounts Payable & Receivable — Capture and review supplier invoices, secure approvals, schedule timely payments and nurture strong supplier relationships; oversee client onboarding, monitor credit limits, invoice, issue statements and manage overdue accounts.
Commissions, Rebates & Accruals — Report on sales-staff commissions; understand and manage the rebate structure we pay suppliers, accruing for these in cashflow; maintain accruals for sales team commissions.
Cost of Sales & Capex — Work closely on purchasing to protect cost-of-sales and capex budgets, including equipment placed on loan and amortised across contract terms.
Payroll — Process payroll accurately and on time; manage superannuation, WorkCover and payroll tax; administer leave, employment contracts and position duties; develop and update policies and procedures.
Cin7 & Inventory — Own inventory accuracy in Cin7, complete Cin7 Academy, troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements and be the go-to Cin7 champion; mentor and train the team on inventory management.
Cross-functional & Additional — Liaise with clients; support the warehouse and sales team as required; maintain and improve HubSpot; back up front desk/phones and sales-order entry when admin is away; and take on other duties as directed by the Director.
AI Integration - Using available software to integrate AI into the finance function and reporting across the business.

Strong budgeting and forecasting experience
A background in a product and service-based business (equipment on loan, amortised across contract terms is a big plus)
Hands-on inventory-management software experience — Cin7 is a major bonus
A cross-functional mindset — comfortable working with admin, customer success and the warehouse, not just finance
Excellent communication, organisation, problem-solving and time management
A genuine team-first attitude and the drive to look beyond the day-to-day
