Internal Sales & Customer Service
Seeking a customer focussed individual with sales experience to join our dynamic and growing company within the quarrying, recycling and mining industries. We focus on selling and installing aftermarket conveyor belts and spare-parts to a wide range of customers on both fixed and mobile machinery.
This job is for full time work at our recently acquired Melbourne facility in Thomastown due to expansion with new product and service offerings. We are an Australian owned company with headquarters North of Brisbane. The company has been in business since 2009 and continues to grow each year.
In this role you would be responsible for Internal Sales and Customer Service to assist with quoting, orders and sales to our new and existing customers. You will work with the Sales Manager, business development, installation engineers, finance, administration and logistics team to deliver a superior service to our customers by helping to ensure fast, accurate sales and dispatch of the products they need. You will also be supported with technical and sales training. As a progressive company we are always looking to develop our staff.
It would be beneficial for you to have the following:

Mechanical aptitude
Experience in industrial sales, spare parts or a heavy related industry
Experience with business to business (B2B) if no heavy industry experience
Excellent attention to detail and well organised
Experience using a CRM system
Ability to multi task in a busy workplace
Able to work unsupervised
Fork lift ticket (helpful, but not a must)
Current driving license
Team Player who enjoys helping others
Detailed responsibilities will include:
Customer Sales (inbound and outbound)
Supporting the External Sales and Service Teams
Coordination with head office teams
Customer Support
Parts interpreting and dispatch logistics as required
Reading and understanding manuals and parts lists
Working with suppliers on pricing and availability
Inbound stock checks
Providing accurate and timely estimates, quotes and sales orders
Use the Odoo ERP system to ensure customer data quality from call to completion of order
Sales and general administration as required
Travel locally if required for customer contact
Follow and adhere to company policies & procedures, safety directives and work rules
Achieve sales targets and KPIs
