We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales to join our Bunbury team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
As a key member of our sales team, you'll work closely with customers, external sales representatives, and operational teams to provide accurate quotations, process orders, and deliver outstanding service from enquiry through to delivery.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on position where you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers. You'll help customers find the right solutions for their projects while ensuring a seamless sales and service experience.
Working closely with our manufacturing and operations teams, you'll play an important role in supporting sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships across the South West region.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, builders, contractors, and trade customers
Provide product information and technical support on Metroll's range of steel building products
Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Follow up quotations and identify opportunities to secure new business
Assist with customer account management and sales administration
Resolve customer queries and provide outstanding customer service
Support the external sales team in driving business growth
Maintain accurate customer and sales records
About You
Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, sales support, or account management
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficient computer skills and experience using business systems
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Highly Regarded
Experience within building products, manufacturing, steel, construction, roofing, fencing, or related industries
Knowledge of steel building products or the construction sector
Experience using ERP systems such as Pronto
