As we continue to scale, we're looking for an experienced Operations & Customer Services Manager to help strengthen our operational foundations, enhance customer experience and build the systems, processes and team capabilities that will support our next stage of growth.

This is a highly visible leadership role that sits at the centre of the business, working closely with our General Manager, Finance Officer and Leadership Team. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we operate, improve efficiency across multiple functions and help shape the future of the organisation.

About the Role

As our Operations & Customer Services Manager, you'll lead our Customer Services function while driving operational excellence across the business. You'll oversee customer service delivery, support key administrative and finance processes, improve internal systems and workflows, and help ensure Taco remains scalable, customer-focused and operationally efficient.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Services Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Customer Services team, including offshore team members

  • Establish and maintain high service standards and operational procedures

  • Monitor team performance, customer satisfaction and service outcomes

  • Manage customer escalations and ensure timely resolution

  • Support onboarding, training and development of team members

Operations & Process Improvement

  • Review, document and improve business processes across the organisation

  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies

  • Coordinate operational projects and business improvement initiatives

  • Support the implementation of new systems, tools and workflows

  • Drive consistency and accountability across operational functions

Finance & Administration Support

Working closely with the Finance Officer and General Manager, you will:

  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes

  • Assist with billing, invoicing and subscription administration

  • Contribute to operational and financial reporting

  • Coordinate vendor and supplier administration

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Assist with payroll administration and finance process documentation

Customer Success & Business Coordination

  • Support customer onboarding and retention initiatives

  • Coordinate customer communications and administrative follow-up

  • Maintain accurate customer records and information

  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Technical Services and Customer Success teams to improve customer outcomes

Leadership & Team Development

  • Foster a positive, collaborative and customer-focused culture

  • Coach, support and develop team members

  • Participate in workforce planning and recruitment activities

  • Contribute to organisational planning and leadership discussions

About You

You'll be a highly organised and proactive leader who enjoys balancing people leadership with operational execution.

Essential Experience

  • Experience in operations management, office management, business administration or customer service leadership

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams

  • Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • High attention to detail and strong administrative capability

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within a technology, software, IT services or managed services environment

  • Exposure to finance administration, accounts or bookkeeping functions

  • Experience working with offshore or remote teams

  • Experience implementing operational improvements and business systems

  • Project coordination or project management experience

  • Knowledge of CRM, PSA or ERP platforms
