As our Regional Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a significant portfolio of customer operations across Victoria and South Australia leading both resident site teams and field service teams, you will ensure our customers achieve the performance, uptime and service outcomes they depend on while driving commercial growth and operational excellence for Swisslog.
This is a highly visible leadership role with full responsibility for operational performance, customer relationships, financial results, safety outcomes and people leadership across multiple strategic customer sites.
The Opportunity
This role is much more than managing maintenance operations.
You will be responsible for leading the entire customer service operation within your region, acting as the senior Swisslog representative for key customers and ensuring the successful delivery of contractual service commitments while continuously identifying opportunities to improve performance and create value.
Working closely with Maintenance Managers, Supervisors, Technicians, Field Service Leaders and Customer Service leadership, you'll bring together people, technology, commercial acumen and customer engagement to deliver exceptional outcomes.
You will provide leadership across a portfolio of automated warehouse sites, ensuring service delivery remains safe, efficient and customer focused.
Day to day, you will:
Lead regional operations across multiple customer sites and field service activities.
Ensure contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved and exceeded wherever possible.
Monitor operational performance, system uptime, maintenance execution and workforce productivity.
Review operational KPIs and performance data to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
Drive standardisation of processes, reporting and service delivery practices across all operations.
Support major incidents and act as the senior escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders.
Success in this role is built on strong customer relationships.
You will spend significant time engaging with customer stakeholders, understanding their operational challenges and ensuring Swisslog is viewed as a trusted advisor rather than simply a service provider.
This includes:
Leading operational and strategic business reviews.
Building relationships with customer leaders at operational, site and executive levels.
Managing escalations and critical customer issues.
Driving customer satisfaction, retention and contract renewals.
Identifying opportunities to improve customer performance through innovation, upgrades and service enhancements.
As the Regional Operations Manager, you will have full accountability for the financial performance of your region.
You will:
Manage operational budgets, forecasts and labour planning.
Drive profitable service delivery.
Improve operational efficiencies and cost performance.
Identify opportunities for lifecycle services, upgrades and system expansions.
Contribute to commercial strategy, pricing reviews and contract renewals.
