Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at True Organic. The role involves ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, implementing workplace safety programs, conducting safety and health audits, and providing safety training. The specialist will develop policies and practices to minimize risks, improve occupational health standards, and promote a safe and sustainable workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health practices
• Demonstrated skills in Workplace Safety and Safety Training program development and delivery
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or OSHA compliance training are a plus
• Experience in the agricultural or manufacturing industry is preferred, but not required
