About the Role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this exciting role is focused on building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth across your territory.
You’ll manage existing accounts while actively developing new business across sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, food production, and industrial processing.

As a key member of our national sales team, based at our Bairnsdale site, you’ll consult with customers to deliver tailored solutions, negotiate commercial terms, and represent Rydell Beltech as a trusted partner in conveyor and belting technology.

This role is flexible to accommodate the suitable candidate, being either full time or part time (eg.30 hours per week). We will partner with you for that work/life balance!


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets.

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities.

  • Consult with customers to understand operational needs and deliver customised solutions.

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and contract negotiations.

  • Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline visibility using Salesforce.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent Rydell Beltech at trade shows, industry events, and customer visits.

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.


What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, ideally in conveyor belting, industrial products, or manufacturing sectors.

  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of pricing, margins, and KPIs.

  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

  • Professional, customer-focused, and results-oriented mindset.

  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
