We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Export Operator to join our Service Delivery team in Melbourne. This is an experienced individual contributor role suited to someone who brings strong export operations knowledge, excellent customer service capability, and the confidence to manage key customer relationships.
The Role:
As Senior Export Operator, you will act as a primary operational contact for key export customers, ensuring shipments are managed accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory and customer requirements.
This role is based in Melbourne and reports to our Truganina office, with a hybrid working arrangement available.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a primary point of contact for export customers;
Manage export P&L from start to finish;
Build strong customer relationships and provide proactive issue resolution;
Process and manage export shipments and documentation accurately and efficiently;
Ensure compliance with export regulations and customer-specific requirements;
Monitor export workflows to ensure timely and accurate completion;
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues;
Represent Ligentia in customer reviews and escalations;
Maintain documentation of key procedures, customer requirements and workflows;
Share knowledge and support the onboarding of new team members;
Contribute to reporting on service performance, customer feedback and operational metrics;
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience:
CargoWise experience is a must;
strong understanding of export documentation, compliance and regulatory requirements;
experience in customer service or account management;
solid knowledge of Incoterms, export P&L and freight forwarding processes;
excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy;
the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently;
a proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
