About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager for the North Metro region to join our sales team at Gourmet & More. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead sales growth and build strong customer relationships across your designated territory. As Territory Manager, you will be the driving force behind our expansion in the North Metro area, managing a portfolio of accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering outstanding service to our customers. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy and offers scope for role development within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

1.        Develop and execute a shared sales strategy for the North Metro territory to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

2.        Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers

3.        Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities within the territory through proactive sales activities and networking

4.        Conduct product presentations and sampling to potential and existing customers, highlighting the benefits of our premium offerings

5.        Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention

6.        Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline opportunities using our CRM systems

7.        Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and delivery

8.        Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform business strategy

9.        Continuously develop product knowledge and stay informed with industry developments and market changes


What we're looking for

1.        Proven track record in B2B sales, with at least 2–3 years' experience in a territory management or similar sales role

2.        Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets consistently

3.        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients

4.        Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with strong work ethic and resilience in a competitive environment

5.        Hands on dedication to support merchandising, replenishment and ticketing of Gourmet & More brands across all product categories

6.        Proficiency in CRM systems and mobile sales technology

7.        Valid driver's licence, as this role requires travel throughout the North Metro territory and a Regional territory 4 times per year

8.        Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple accounts

9.        Knowledge of the food and beverage industry is desirable but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate

10.    Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player

11.    Problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable approach to changing business needs
