We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager - Rock Drilling Tools to join our team in Perth.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth across Epiroc's Rock Drilling Tools business by developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, increasing market share and delivering customer-focused solutions across the mining, construction and quarrying sectors.
The successful candidate will have a strong sales mindset, the ability to build trusted customer relationships, and the confidence to work with both existing and new customers to deliver sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer and Account Development
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their operational needs and identifying opportunities to deliver value through Epiroc's Rock Drilling Tools offering.
Business Growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the region, with a focus on growing market share, increasing customer engagement and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue.
Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop and execute account and territory plans aligned with business objectives, sales targets and customer requirements.
Product and Application Knowledge
Build a strong understanding of Epiroc's Rock Drilling Tools products, applications and value proposition to effectively position solutions with customers.
Market Intelligence
Monitor customer activity, competitor movements, market trends and feedback to identify opportunities, risks and areas for improvement.
Customer Presentations and Proposals
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, product demonstrations and commercial proposals that clearly communicate value to the customer.
Commercial Negotiation
Negotiate pricing, terms and agreements within approved commercial guidelines to secure profitable and sustainable business outcomes.
Customer Support and Issue Resolution
Work closely with internal teams to support customer requirements, resolve issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
CRM and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, forecasts and market intelligence through Salesforce. Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline and account development.
Internal Collaboration
Collaborate with product management, customer care, service, marketing and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs are understood and supported.
