The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Business Development Manager to lead the growth and development of an established portfolio of security integration partners across Western Australia.
 
Rather than building a territory from scratch, you'll inherit a well-established customer base of security integrators and focus on strengthening existing relationships, identifying new project opportunities, and driving increased share of wallet across the portfolio.
 
Working closely with customers, vendor partners, and internal technical specialists, you'll provide consultative sales support across a broad range of electronic security solutions including CCTV, VMS. networking, and integrated security technologies.
 
This role is ideal for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships, uncovering new opportunities, and becoming a trusted advisor to their customers.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, develop, and grow an established portfolio of security integration customers throughout Western Australia.
  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers across security integrators, installers, and contractors.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing accounts while actively pursuing new customer opportunities.
  • Develop account plans and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Promote a broad portfolio of electronic security solutions from leading global manufacturers.
  • Work collaboratively with internal technical, sales, and operations teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Provide product recommendations, commercial proposals, quotations, and project support.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, pipeline reviews, and business planning meetings.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and account activity.
  • Represent the business at industry events, product launches, and customer functions.
About You
The successful applicant will bring:
  • Proven success in business development, account management, or technical sales.
  • Experience selling into security integrators, electrical contractors, systems integrators, or technology resellers.
  • Industry experience within Electronic Security, CCTV, Intruder Detection, ICT, or Networking
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing existing customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A consultative sales approach with the ability to identify customer needs and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and a passion for developing long-term customer partnerships.
The Offer
You will receive an attractive salary package commensurate with your experience, including a base salary of $120,000 - $140,000, plus Superannuation, $20,000 Car Allowance, and Incentives ($20,000+ per annum).
