We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused External Sales Representative to join our dynamic and growth-focused team at our Dandenong South site, home to both our Conveyor Belt and Power Transmission divisions. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this full-time role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of established accounts within South Eastern suburbs, while developing new business as part of our strategic growth plans.

About the Role
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this exciting role is focused on building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth across your territory.
You’ll manage existing accounts while actively developing new business across sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, food production, and industrial processing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow an established customer portfolio while identifying new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong B2B relationships across key industries.
Assess local and regional market potential to drive growth.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Generate and convert qualified leads into long-term partnerships.
Understand customer needs and deliver tailored conveyor belting solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present compelling proposals.
Lead commercial negotiations and pricing strategies.
Maintain accurate records using Salesforce CRM.
Contribute actively to weekly sales meetings and business initiatives.
Prepare and submit professional sales proposals and contracts.
Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, ideally in conveyor belting, industrial products, or manufacturing sectors.
Proven ability to build and manage strong customer relationships.
Previous sales experience in a related industry is preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Professional business acumen and a customer-first mindset.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of KPIs and sales targets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce CRM experience is an advantage.
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
A collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
